Important Notes
- This website is strictly informational. I do not sell anything.
- Manuals and software are at Archive.org
- Play well and read the credits
- Program robots at your own risk. Always follow Asimov’s Laws of Robotics. I disclaim responsibility for anything that breaks in your computer, Lego parts, or body. Methods that work for me may not work for you. I believe that everything I do here is safe. Use common sense: do not stick your finger into fast-moving gears, do not perform stupid tricks with electricity, and don’t execute computer code that you do not understand.
- I am not affiliated with LEGO Group. Their representatives sent me an unkind message on behalf of Lego about alleged trademark infringement when I purchased a domain containing the L-word. Lego’s page about “fair play” states their preferred disclaimer for hobby sites: “LEGO® is a trademark of the LEGO Group of companies which does not sponsor, authorize or endorse this site.” I assume they also trademark Dacta, Expert Builder, Mindstorms, and Technic.
- I say “Legos”. This is controversial only among serious adult hobbyists: children don’t care. Legos are a toy designed for children. I tinker with Legos as an adult because it still brings me childhood joy. Everyone I knew, growing up in New Jersey in the 1970s and 1980s, called it Legos. That’s my nostalgia, so I stick with it today.
